Hard Water

Rain Water is some what acidic because as it fails through the atmosphere it encounters Carbon dioxide (CO,) with which it reacts to from Carbonic acid as follows Rain Water combines with gases in air & becomes slightly acidic

The slightly acidic water dissolves rock and forms hardness. The hardness of the water comes from the calcium and magnesium salts that dissolve in the water, which form soluble rocks through which the rain water.

In Hard Water

The lime scale is the precipitation of calcium salts. especially in hard water areas, causing the hard scale to form in pipes, taps, washing machines, shower heads, geysers, solar heaters, & boilers. Limescale combines with the soap and makes it lather less. It leaves a tide mark on bath sinks, basins, toilets, and taps that is difficult to remove.

Research

Research showed that these salts combine with each other to form crystals and attach themselves to other surfaces in the form of scale. Further research proved that a rapidly changing electronic waveform would neutralise these bonds but that a different waveform was needed for each mineral, which should be generated accurately and with controlled speed.
